Nail Trimming & Shaping
Wendy trims toenails to a comfortable length and files the edges smooth, so there's nothing catching on socks or rubbing inside shoes. It sounds simple, but it makes a real difference to everyday comfort.
This is the treatment most people book first — especially if bending down, reaching your feet, or seeing clearly enough to cut nails safely has become difficult. It's just as suitable for anyone who'd simply rather leave it to a professional.

Callus Removal
Callus is hard, thickened skin that builds up where a foot takes extra friction or pressure — often on the ball of the foot or the edge of the heel. Wendy carefully pares it back with proper instruments, relieving the pressure underneath.
It's common in people who are on their feet a lot, wear shoes that rub, or simply have skin that thickens more easily with age. Left alone, it can crack or become painful to walk on.

Corn Removal
A corn is a small, concentrated area of hard skin with a core that presses into the nerves beneath it — which is why even a small one can be surprisingly painful. Wendy removes it carefully and precisely, without any cutting into healthy skin.
Corns often form on the top of toes, between toes, or on the sole, usually where a shoe or another toe is creating repeated pressure. Anyone who's noticed a sharp, localised sore spot when walking is likely dealing with one.

Ingrowing Toenail Relief
This is when the edge of a toenail grows into the surrounding skin, causing redness, tenderness and sometimes swelling. Wendy gently relieves the pressure and gets the nail growing the right way again.
It can happen to anyone, but is especially common where nails have been cut too short or at an angle, or where footwear is a little too tight. It's worth having looked at as soon as it feels sore, rather than waiting.

Verruca Treatment
A verruca is a small, viral growth on the sole of the foot, and it can look and behave quite differently from one person to the next. Wendy assesses yours properly before deciding on the right approach, whatever stage it's at.
Verrucas can affect anyone, though they're more noticeable in people who spend time barefoot in communal areas, or who simply have one that's become sore or is spreading.

Thickened Nail Reduction
Nails can thicken and harden over time — through age, an old injury, or a past fungal infection — until they become genuinely difficult and even risky to cut yourself. Wendy reduces and smooths them safely using proper equipment.
This is a very common treatment for older adults, and for anyone who's found nail clippers simply aren't up to the job any more.

Cracked Heel Treatment
Dry skin around the heel can thicken and eventually split, which is uncomfortable at best and, in deeper cracks, can be sore enough to bleed. Wendy treats the hard skin and conditions the area to help it heal.
It's especially common in people who spend a lot of time on hard floors, in open-backed shoes, or whose skin has simply become drier with age.

Pressure Relief
Some areas of the foot take more pressure than others — around bunions, prominent joints, or spots reshaped by arthritis — and that pressure can make ordinary standing and walking genuinely painful. Wendy uses padding and careful treatment to take the strain off these areas.
This is especially valuable for anyone with arthritis, diabetes, or a foot shape that's changed over the years and is now causing rubbing or soreness in particular spots.

Complete Foot Care Treatment
This is the full works — nail trimming and shaping, callus and hard skin care, and a thorough moisturise and finish, all in one unhurried visit. It's the treatment most people settle into having regularly.
It suits anyone who wants their feet properly looked after from top to toe, rather than addressing one issue at a time — a popular choice for a first appointment, or as an ongoing routine every few weeks.

Diabetic Foot Care Treatment
Diabetes can reduce both sensation and circulation in the feet over time, which means small problems — a corn, a bit of dry skin, a minor cut — aren't always felt the way they normally would be, and can take longer to heal. That's why regular, professional attention matters more, not less.
It's entirely safe to have done at home when carried out by a qualified practitioner, which Wendy is. She checks the skin, nails and pressure areas, uses sterile instruments every visit, and if she spots anything that needs medical attention she'll flag it calmly and suggest it's seen by your GP or diabetes nurse.
